Choose this when you only want to visit Pompeii. The walk lasts 2 hours with entry included. Transport leaves from Via Galileo Ferraris 40 in Naples and returns there.
It fits if you have half a day. For Vesuvius too, choose the pizza trip. You'll need to reach the meeting point yourself.
Lunch costs extra, and the ticket doesn't identify Villa of the Mysteries access. What I'd do: take this for a guided visit and allow 3–4 hours for the whole trip.

What should I check before booking?
How much do Pompeii tours from Naples cost?
Starting prices for the eight shared options range from €65 to €150 per person. These prices were. The short Pompeii tour starts at €65.
The winery trip starts at €150 with Regular Group Tour With Ticket. Its €120 option leaves entry out. What I'd do: price the exact option before choosing by cost.
How long is the trip, and how long do I get inside Pompeii?
Allow 3 to 4 hours for Pompeii Guided Tour. The combined days run from 6 to 9 hours. Return transport is included in those totals.
Most Pompeii stops last 2 hours. The Pompeii and Vesuvius coach trip lasts 8 hours with 2.5 guided hours inside Pompeii. What I'd do: choose the short trip if Pompeii is the only stop I want.
Will the tour pick me up at my hotel?
These options use named meeting points. The winery trip has listed hotel stops in Naples. Pompeii Guided Tour meets at Via Galileo Ferraris 40 without hotel pickup.
The RGT crater and wine option meets at Molo Beverello or Starhotels Terminus. Maritime Station starts at Naples cruise terminal. What I'd do: choose the departure with the easiest meeting point to reach.
Does the price include Pompeii entry?
Six of the eight compared options include Pompeii entry. The longer Sorrento stop and guided coast day charge it separately. All include return transport from Naples.
The coast day with an audio guide includes the city ticket. The Villa of the Mysteries isn't included on that option. What I'd do: keep the entry cost beside the tour price when comparing.
Can I bring a baby or young children?
Yes, and the age bands differ between tours. The audio guide coast trip takes infants aged 0 to 3 and children aged 4 to 17. Request child seats when booking.
On the pizza and crater trip, infants are 0 to 2 and children are 3 to 17. Infants sit on an adult's lap on that trip. What I'd do: choose by the child's age and seating needs.
What if I have walking or health concerns?
The winery trip isn't suitable if you have walking difficulties. It requires moderate fitness. Pompeii Guided Tour needs moderate fitness too.
Neither is recommended during pregnancy, with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health. These conditions apply even without a crater climb. What I'd do: read the health restrictions before choosing by price.
What happens if bad weather changes the trip?
Bad weather can cancel Pompeii Guided Tour. The pizza trip replaces a closed Vesuvius with free time at Herculaneum. The Vesuvius coach trip offers Herculaneum entry tickets instead.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before departure. That deadline applies to your own cancellation on all eight tours. What I'd do: choose a crater trip only if its replacement would suit the day.
What should I bring?
Bring a valid passport for Pompeii and Vesuvius with Pizza. The guided coast day requires valid ID. You'll also need cash for its extra Pompeii entry charge.
For the winery trip, wear walking shoes for uneven ground. In warm weather, bring water, a hat and sunscreen.
Which tour should I choose for my first visit?
