Is this tour right for you?

Choose this if you want a private route shaped around your party. The walk lasts 2 hours and is priced per person. A booking needs at least two travelers aged 13 or older.

See Roman streets and shops as well as public baths and houses. Guiding is included; park entry and private transport aren't. Use the park's Vivaticket platform for official online entry tickets.

Meet near Vittoria cafe in Piazza Esedra and look for the Pompeii with Linda sign. Bring ID matching each person's named park ticket. Too few bookings can cancel the departure.

What I'd do: choose this for a tailored private visit if your party meets the minimum booking requirement.

Chiara VitaleWrites pompeii.day

I grew up in Castellammare di Stabia, under the volcano, and spent six seasons on hotel front desks in Sorrento. Which ticket, which train, which gate, how many hours: I've answered these more times than I can count.

Now I live in Pompei, ten minutes on foot from the Amphitheatre gate, and I go into the site most weeks on a MyPompeii card. For this page I compared the options and booking terms with the park's rules. I haven't taken this trip. Report a correction.
