Is this tour right for you?

Choose this if you want Pompeii followed by a winery lunch. A private minivan handles the transport. Your archaeologist can shape the city route around your interests and pace.

The route centers on the Forum before visiting houses and other public buildings. Pompeii entry is included; the ticket type isn't named, so check Villa of the Mysteries access. The whole outing lasts 4–7 hours.

Agree the total time inside Pompeii before booking. The winery visit lasts 90 minutes and is paid for there. Large Theater access is from the upper ring from September 9 to October 8, 2026.

I grew up in Castellammare di Stabia, under the volcano, and spent six seasons on hotel front desks in Sorrento. Which ticket, which train, which gate, how many hours: I've answered these more times than I can count.

Now I live in Pompei, ten minutes on foot from the Amphitheatre gate, and I go into the site most weeks on a MyPompeii card. For this page I compared the options and booking terms with the park's rules. I haven't taken this trip. Report a correction.
